Edinburgh and Lothian Standard Clauses (Third Edition - 2007)
The Edinburgh and Lothian Standard Clauses are now in their third version - they are used by Archibald Campbell & Harley in virtually all residential purchase transactions.
They comprise an agreed style of offer which recognises that there are a considerable number of standard parts to any residential property contract, which could be anticipated and sensibly agreed between seller and purchaser from the outset. This leaves real discussion and negotiation to take place only on the remaining and specific points on each individual transaction, with the aim being the shorten the time taken to achieve a final and binding contract.
The most up to date version of the Standard Clauses, and a copy of our Guide to those Standard Clauses can be found by clicking on the undernoted links.
